His research interests include atmospheric pressure plasma, solution plasma process, liquid plasma process, plasma polymerization, and flexible display devices, such as PLED. Since 2005, he has been serving as an Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ELECTRON DEVICES section on display technology for nine years. He has been the Director of the BK21 PLUS KNU ICT Research Center, since 2013.
